Introduction: There is a little home on the Web called Friends in Need aka FIN. A place where people who have been diagnosed with breast cancer can visit and gain and give support to others. Many friendships have been made at FIN and while everyone is different, they all have something in common. Everyone has heard the words, ” You have breast cancer.” Together, these people share their experiences and express their compassion to each other. They laugh together, they cry together and best of all they care, share and mean it! By clicking the categories on the left, you will read their stories in their own words. You will read about their diagnosis, fears, families and some humorous experiences which they have encountered during their life living as a survivor with breast cancer.
The members call themselves Awesome Angels. They flap their Angel wings for those who need it, praying and flapping for good news when someone has a test scheduled.
They take life just one day at a time, making the most of each day the best they can with humor being a part of many of those days.
