Nick: spidergirl Resides: N.Carolina Diagnosed: 2nd September 1999 Age at diagnosis: 27 Diagnosis & Treatment:First I had a lumpectomy where they removed a 6X7 inch lump from my right breast. One week later I had a modified radical mastectomy. 15 lymph nodes were positive for cancer. I underwent 4 rounds of chemo (adria/cytoxin) then was admitted to the hospital for a Stem Cell transplant. I still have 36 radiation treatments to go, along with taking tamoxifen for 5 yrs. Likes/Loves: LIFE! Dislikes/Hates: needles & people w/bad attitudes. Personal comments: Every day we are given a gift of life. What we choose to do with it helps to determine the amount of happiness we feel and share with others.
