Nick: Debbie Resides: Peabody, Ma. USA Diagnosed: April 1999 Age at diagnosis:48 Diagnosis & Treatment: Diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. I had a mastectomy with reconstructive surgery(tram flap). I also had 4 cycles of Adriamycin/Cytoxan and then 4 cycles of Taxol. Then had 29 radiation treatments and I am now on Tamoxifen for the next five years. Likes/Loves: I love my husband, my children and three grandchildren and the rest of my family. I love my job and working. I love to read and I really love my computer!!!! I love that I am alive and doing well!!!! Dislikes/Hates: I hated my chemo treatments and losing my hair. I disliked people that treatment differently when they found out I had cancer. I dislike how cancer stole a year of my life and has put me in constant fear of recurrence. Personal comments: Breast cancer has taught me alot of good things. I have learned how much stronger I really am and I have learned to really live life to the fullest now.
