Nick: bingomama Resides: Williams Lake British columbia, Canada Diagnosed: Feb. 2000 Age at diagnosis: 40 Diagnosis & Treatment: Invasive adenocarcinoma left breast removed 3 months Chemotherapy and 16 radiation treatments Had 1 node positive out of 13 !! Likes/Loves: Love my two daughters to death ! Thats why Im determinded to beat this! My Hubby was the best,so supportive way beyond belief! Dislikes/Hates: What I have hated the most through all this was Oh your so strong! Ya want to make a bet? and your children are older 16 and 20 years old its ok ! What at that age they dont need a MOM? Give me a break I aint finished being there Mom not even close!! Personal comments: The hardest part of all this has been when all the treatment was over I found myself so scared and so afraid of being positive .I describe my time during this whole ordeal like this " I was picked up by a tornado on Feb. 9 th and have been up in the air cicling around up there for five months doing all that was expected of me Re: like Chemo and radiation and then one day on June 22nd all treatment done the tornado decided to put me back down to earth I was devasted ,lost , and very unsure of my future. Im now all on my own with this monster and scared to death ! Everyone says time will be the major healer for me to feel safe again ! I hope it comes soon..
