As we are all aware, our faith is so very important, and prayers help so many in times of adversity. It has been suggested to me that here at Friends I create a prayer chain. The power of prayer is a miracle in itself! Mercedese Copeland - I ask that you pray for me as I undergo masectomy on my left breast on June 30, 2000. I ask that God strengthen me and give me hope and faith to undergo just this first step of my journey. I ask that the Lord strengthen each of you as well and renew your spirits and bodies. I realize I have just joined a sisterhood that although I knew existed, I could not truly ever comprehend until I too became part of it. Because of being cancer challenged, I have given my life over to God and Jesus and commended my unruly spirit to His hands.. I pray for the strength to life my eyes to the mountains and walk the brave path of strength, faith and courage that the FIN Angels walk. I know their strength comes from their belief. Our wonderful dad (my husband's father) has a recurrence of a melanoma
and it is most probably inoperable. My the Lord guide the doctors on
tuesday to make the right decisions. I pray he lives to see his first
great grandchild. Our family is scattered over the country and we will
unite through prayer. Ceil - Lord, I ask you to be with Don and Barbara while Don waits for an open
bed to be moved to Hospice. His cancer is spreading so rapidly that I
ask you to keep him comfortable until you take him home to you. A year
ago Barbara had her own battle with bc and now must face losing her
husband. Please be with both of them and may their families and friends
be very supportive and present to them.
Dorothy Bade - Dear Heavenly Father, I pray this night for Rocelle. With 9 children to raise, breast cancer really becomes an inconvenience. But more than for her physically healing, I ask that YOU will bring salvation to her home. I pray also for little Christian. At three years old he has fought this rotten cancer battle twice and now is facing it again. Please provide strength for his family and friends as they help him with this battle. I'm going in at 2:30pm Texas time for another CAT SCAN of the
head..the symptoms of dizziness and headaches are still with me..which is
what I had originally when diagnosed with a brain tumor..the doctor wants
to check to make sure there is not another tumor growing..which this
disease tends to do..I'm hoping that is not the case because I really am
scared of surgeries..I would like prayers that there is no new tumor

I know you are a believer in the divine power of god......please pray for
my Aimee.....she lays in a hospital bed, now it has been one week...she is
so discouraged and tired of looking at four walls.....she can only get up
to go to the rest room and its almost like being in prison.The baby
is doing fine but they won't let her go home to continue on for the rest
of her pregnancy..and she might not even go into labor for weeks they
really don't know.I'm tired and she is too.. and Tony her husband
is too....and my crying does not help..... only god can.....and your

On March 4th, it will be 6 years since my my angel baby
Samantha was still born. This year (as every year) it is a
sad lonely time for me. I ALWAYS remember something that I
haven't before. This is due to drugs (during labor and
delivery) and shock.
Please pray that God helps me through this time without losing
my mind, sense of perspective, or killing my family with a
very sad and sharp tongue.

also undergoing chemo at this time. Please help make her decision. I also have

recurrence after 5 years, has been fighting and praying hard, she will
have a cat scan on Jan. 8th, and I pray for remission God.......I pray
for this new year we have just started, that all the research on all
cancers will bring a cure....................I pray for Doreen, as she
just had radiation once more for her bone pain, to let her walk without
pain............I pray for Evie, as she is fighting mets from breast
cancer also, and having a hard time, she needs relief and a life that

I had just recently went to get a pap smear it has came back class 3. This
occurred in 1991 also and I had precancer cells. The Dr. burned them off. Now
I go Oct.27th to have another biopsy. Please pray that the test was a mistake.

Once again I ask for special prayers. I completed a series of
radiation treatments to my brain and I go in for a follow-up MRI
tomorrow morning (Wednesday). Please pray that I will get good news
from the MRI. I know that my Lord can heal me and I am praying to that
